Specification check

electric chain hoist with trolley

Collect aisle, beam, headroom and utility constraints before you ask factories to quote an electric chain hoist with trolley. This page is a site-fit checklist. It is not an ESG dashboard, a carbon roadmap or a claim that we inspected your building.

Open decisions the brief must still name

Runway and trolley

Beam flange width, thickness and whether the trolley is hook-mounted or lug-mounted. Low headroom packages change the hook path; write the remaining clearance, do not assume a catalog drawing fits.

Power drop

Voltage, phase and frequency for hoist and trolley motors. A 115 V single-phase note is not interchangeable with 460 V three-phase supply. Shop air belongs only on pneumatic options, which this electric brief should exclude in writing.

Aisle and dock interfaces

Aisle width, dock height difference and any pit depth under a support frame. Those numbers travel with the RFQ because they decide whether a substitute trolley still clears the building.

Duty versus nameplate

Duty cycle and lifts per hour sit next to rated capacity. Accepting an alternative because the nameplate tons match, while duty class and load center differ, is the dispute this page is meant to catch.

Papers to request after a factory is named

  • Duty class statementAsk the factory, not this desk, to attach it to the quoted model.
  • Trolley flange rangeConfirm the beam you already have, or mark runway steel as a separate buy.
  • Wiring diagramHoist and trolley motors, pendant or radio, and festoon or conductor bar.
  • Exclusion listFreight, anchors, electrical drop and commissioning listed as in or out.

There is no downloadable file on this page. The list is a reminder of what a comparable electric chain hoist with trolley reply should attach.

Order of checks before you accept an alternative

  1. Write units

Capacity, lift height and travel speed with units. See the units note.

  2. Write the building

Aisle width, headroom, beam flange and power drop. If one of those is unknown, keep the page status as an open check, not a finished fit.

  3. Split the money lines

Equipment versus freight versus site work. A substitute that looks cheaper because it dropped commissioning is not an accepted alternative.

  4. Send the same brief

Use inquiry options or the contact form. Optional budget and supplier preference stay buyer choices.

Send the site constraints with the RFQ

We restated aisle, beam, power and quantity. Factories confirm what they can build.
